Fishing trip Caleta Sierra

Caleta Sierra - Small fishing village  •

When we rolled into town, a nice guy name Juan Charlie helped us set up camp. I then asked if he would take me fishing with him in the morning. He looked perplexed at my request and said sure we leave at 5 am. Between the barking dogs till 2am and the roosters at 3am I didn't get any sleep. It was dark at 5am. It was cool seeing the fishermen turn on their flash lights and head to their boats. The fishing nets were about 3 miles north of town. Seemed liked they had been there for at least 24 hrs. To the chagrin of the fishermen, we only caught two eel looking fish and a dozen crabs. Not that great, but still fun to be part of the action.
